UNDERSTANDING THERMOGRAPHY

THERMOGRAPHY 101

Early Detection Saves Lives

THERMOGRAPHY or DIGITAL INFRARED THERMAL IMAGING (DITI) is a clinical imaging procedure of the body that aids in the diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases, physical injuries, unexplained pain and other conditions through detection and monitoring of thermal abnormalities present in the body. An infrared scanning device is used to convert infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface into electrical impulses that are visualized in color on a monitor. This visual image graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a thermogram.

Unlike most diagnostic testing, DITI is:

  • Non-Invasive

  • No Radiation

  • Painless

  • Private Scanning process with no body contact

  • F.D.A Approved

  • American College of Clinical Thermology (ACCT) Certified Technicians

BENEFITS OF PREVENTATIVE

THERMOGRAPHY 101

Early Detection Saves Lives

Is Prevention the Key to Longevity?

Yes, imagine the ability to be able to see the signs of potential cancer, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, diabetes or high blood pressure long before it develops into the disease. Now, that has become more possible than ever thanks to the remarkable visual benefits of Thermography.

PREVENTION IN REGARDS TO INFLAMMATION AND PAIN

  • Thermography allows you to visually view the inflammation present in the body.

  • Thermography is the only method available for visualizing “Acute or Chronic” pain and pathology anywhere in the body

  • There are two different types of patterns a thermographer looks for in a thermogram. Pain in the body shows up as Hyperthermia (hot spots: red and white) or Hypothermia (cold spots: blue, purple, and black) indicating to the client and/or practitioner a vascular or nerve problem within the body. The spectrum of colors indicates an increase or decrease in the amount of infrared radiation being emitted from the body surface.

  • This aids in the diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases, physical injuries, unexplained pain, and other conditions through detection and monitoring of thermal abnormalities present in the body. Since there is a high degree of thermal symmetry in the normal body, subtle abnormal temperature asymmetry’s can be easily identified.

  • Inflammation is a precursor to many diseases such as cancer, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

  • Early detection of inflammation is critical as you can prevent or intervene in the development process before it turns into disease.

  • Measuring inflammation through thermal imaging on a consistent basis can also be very effective at detecting the severity of the issue.

  • Inflammation can be reduced by dietary changes, detoxification, supplements, stress-reduction, exercise, massage, acupuncture, and other holistic methods

  • Used as a preventative tool, DITI can be a wonderful resource to visualize vascular problems, carotid arteries. TMJ, infected root canals and gum disease to name a few

SCANNING TIMELINE

FOR A HEALTHIER YOU

INITIAL

SCAN

BOOK AN INITIAL SCAN

This is your first-time scan or baseline of your

“thermal signature”

that will serve as an initial reference point for later scans.

3 MONTH

RESCAN

BOOK A 3 MONTH RESCAN

This thermal scan determines whether or not the initial baseline has remained unchanged. If no changes are seen then this scan creates a stable baseline for future comparative analysis.

ANNUAL

SCAN

This yearly scan monitors any physiological changes in the body through comparative analysis of all other scan completed.

(Please note: If you experience or notice any changes in your body between annual re-scans, it is your responsibility to arrange an additional scan to view any potential physiological changes)
